Fair isle boys sweater

This vintage style hand knitted masculine boys' sweater cardigan is our own unique design. The geometrical pattern is inspired by Fair Isle knitting patterns that have a limited colour palette of five or so and use only two colours per row. Fair Isle knits were extremely popular in 1920's among Oxford and Cambridge students after Prince of Wales was spotted wearing a sleeveless Fair Isle sweater.
Yarn used is felted tweed: 50% merino wool, 25% alpaca, 25% viscose by Rowan.

Size on the photo is for 2-3 year old and is available for shipping in 1-2 business days. All other sizes: 1-2, 3-4 and 4-5 years are made to order.

Hand wash only, dry flat, iron low heat.
