The bubble shorts: Classic ginghams

The Bubble Shorts are a fun and cute complement to any of our tops –B-blouse or X-dress– or worn over swimsuits and other Summer tops. Light and comfortable, they are the tailored version of a bloomer. It is shown with our B-blouse, sold separately.

They are made of 100% cotton ginham, which is both light-weight and fresh for Spring and Summer. We use high-quality shirting fabrics made of the softest Egyptian cotton and woven in Japan.

We know that not all kids have the same proportions so we have designed our clothes to be more flexible than the regular sizes. Our shorts come in one size. The waist band has an adjustable elastic band that is secured to internal buttons to help adjust your girl’s growing bodies:

On a toddler, adjust the waist band to the tightest positions to keep shorts in place. The bubble shape will provide room for diapers.

On older girls adjust waist band accordingly and, in most girls, they will continue to fit until they are 5 or 6 (depending on body type).
